What is considered as a certified copy?

We only accept documents stated below if you are required to submit an official or certified copy. If only a digital copy is available, please contact the graduate school you are applying to.

‐ A hard copy sealed or signed by a relevant authority
‐ A hard copy certified by a relevant authority to be a true copy
‐ A hard copy notarized by public notary

Important

If instructed to submit an official or certified copy, applicants must send by post a hard copy certified in one of the ways stated above. We only accept those true copies as a valid document. For any questions, please contact the graduate school to which you are applying to. In no circumstance, unofficial copies from applicants are accepted.

Regarding Degree Certificate

Please do not send a diploma placed in an elegant diploma folder/cover or wooden frame. It’s strongly recommended that applicants submit a degree award letter issued by school, instead of a diploma or award certificate – the document you are given upon completion of a course of study at a university or college that can’t be reissued or replaced with another document. Some graduate school won’t accept this format of certificate.
